Improving The World

"How wonderful it is that
nobody need wait a single moment
before starting to improve the world."

Anne Frank

It begins with the children. A helping hand. A kind word. Understanding. Empathy. What will you do this moment, day, or week to improve the world?

Enjoy the Journey!

  1. I think people need to start caring a bit more for one another. I always wish my customers at work "a nice day/weekend/afternoon" - knowing that hearing someone you don't really know wishing you a good day, can make a huge difference in your day.

    Have a great week, Karlene!

    1. Thank you so much Cecilie. I think people underestimate the power of the word. I do the same. Sometimes I think taking a moment for them makes a difference too.

  2. What a great reminder to be caring and kind, and what a fabulous picture to bring the message to our hearts. Great post, thank you.

    1. Thank you Linda. Carter walked up to the statue and placed his left hand on the man, and his right hand to hold the little boys hand. He became part of their circle. It was so sweet.

  3. Love the Anne Frank quote. Very true. And our future lies within the youth for sure. Train them well while they are young! (Especially in aviation) Even a positive facial expression, like a simple smile will go a long way. It certainly does with me as smiles are rare here. But occasionally we do get them!

    1. Oh, and that is so sad. I'm thinking we should start a plan to share smiles. They're free and they increase your face value!
Thank you so much for your comment Jeremy. Counting down the days. :)
